We are currently seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join our modular operations, based in Para Hills West, SA

We work with government departments, owners, architects and engineers to design and build custom buildings across a broad range of industries. As a turnkey construction company, we provide pre-construction assistance, project schedule development as well as construction management services.
  
About the role
The Architectural Draftsperson is responsible for project delivery activities inclusive of design production and delivery. This role will suit a candidate who is highly driven and passionate about project design. 

Key responsibilities will include:
  • The preparation of Design documentation includes plans, drawings, schedules, specifications and supporting documentation.
  • Project modelling, detailing and preparation of all necessary documentation suitable for relevant stakeholder requirements, ie; Building Certification, Client approval, Production, Town Planning and infrastructure authorities
  • Project administration processes for transmittals, submittals, design and construction models, shop drawings and schedules
  • Ensure designs are compliant with BCA and relevant Australian Standards as well as client specification, contract requirements and company HSEQ standards
  • Liaison with senior staff, and other division representatives as required to allow effective design operations
  • Assist where required to troubleshoot problems and support local office design team members
  • Assist in communicating project-related Revit content in coordination with BIM manager
About You
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
  • 3+ years’ experience in a professional design environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualification - Architectural Degree preferred
  • Experience preparing accurate and clear drawings, from concept to construction drawings
  • Proficient in Revit Architecture is essential
  • AutoCAD skills will be an advantage
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines
