We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer with technical knowledge to join to our procurement team based in High Wycombe. A background in modular or building will be highly desired. 
  
Since being listed on the ASX in 1987, Fleetwood has leveraged advances in technology and prefabrication to become the market leader in modular construction. We work with government departments, owners, architects and engineers to design and build custom buildings across a broad range of industries. As a turnkey construction company, we provide pre-construction assistance, project schedule development as well as construction management services.

About the role
Due to an increasing pipeline of work, an experienced Procurement Officer is now required to drive strong end-to-end commercial procurement services with a prime focus on costings, budget and delivery. 

About the Role:  
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Interpreting building plans, specifications and contract requirements
  • Demonstrate leadership skills for small project specific teams
  • Analysis of best purchasing deals – acquiring goods and services at favourable prices by comparing prices of goods from different suppliers
  • Assist with the full function of purchasing, expediting, shipping, receipt and inspections, and logistics
  • Liaise with the relevant project stakeholders internally and externally to clarify project requirements and source pricing information
  • Ensure all purchasing activities within the team run inline with the budget and factory, production and project schedules
  • Supplier liaisons for existing and new vendors
  • Quantity take-offs and estimates
About You
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a procurement role within the building and construction industry preferred
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards / Regulations
  • Tertiary qualification for Procurement and Contracting or other relevant qualification with similar disciplines
  • Experience with procurement & ERP software, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent negotiation skills 
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
