Head of HR – Singapore:
This technology business is well established with offices across both Asia and Europe. They serve customers across the globe and are considered leaders in their field. They are well funded, growing rapidly and expect to significantly increase their headcount across all office locations during 2021 and beyond.
As a result of rapid growth they are looking to hire a Head of HR for their Singapore operations.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Country Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of HR including:
  • HR Strategy, HR Projects, HR Change Management, L&D/Training, Organisational Design, Compensation & Benefits & HR operations. In summary all aspects of an HR generalist role will fall under your remit.

  • You will need to build, grow and manage the HR team for the Singapore business and will have proven experience attracting, hiring and retaining talent for both your own HR team and the wider business functions.

  • Whilst this isn’t a greenfield HR function (there is a small HR team and HR systems & processes already exist due to the size of the business), you will be responsible for reviewing all aspects of the HR function, improving capability, systems, policies and processes where required and creating your own high performing HR function for the Singapore business.

  • You will be HR tech-savvy and interested in further automating existing systems and process to create a best-in-class, tech enabled HR function.
Key experience required:
  • 8-10+ years-experience acting as an HR Business Partner or Head of HR within a local Singapore, or regional role.
  • Proven experience building, growing and managing HR teams.
  • You will be HR tech-savvy, interested in tech (preferably) and interested in further automating existing systems and process to create a best-in-class, tech enabled HR function.
  • Technology industry experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Start-up experience (series A/B/C) is preferred but not essential, as well as experience working with co-founders and/ or functional heads for the business (CIO, Head of Product etc).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Due to the size of the business and rate of growth then you will need to be a hands on HR Professional who is comfortable rolling up your sleeves and working in a fast-paced, fluid and ever changing environment.
  • Applications will be strongly preferred from candidates who do not require sponsorship for employment (Singaporean citizens or PR's).
