The role
Our facility at Malmsbury Youth Justice Centre is looking for permanent Registered Nurses to join the primary care team in either a full-time or part-time capacity on a permanent basis. Situated half-way between Melbourne and Bendigo, Malmsbury offers a rural feel, but with access to urban amenities within an hour’s drive. Working with this patient group is rewarding as the healthcare you provide can have a positive impact for a lifetime. You will deliver a Nurse led model of care for young people, in a safe and secure environment. You will be flexible to work shifts on a 7 day rotating roster, with morning, afternoon and night shifts. 

Essential experience:
  • Registered General Nurse Qualification
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • A minimum of one year full time post graduate nursing experience
  • Recent nursing experience in an acute and/or primary healthcare setting
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills
