The Factory Manager is responsible for managing, developing, training and motivating a team consisting of line managers and operatives

Position Overview
Our client is a leading food and beverage manufacturer with multiple brands within the instant beverage, frozen convenience and snack food space. With over 23 offices globally, 7 manufacturing facilities and distribution of their products to over 50 countries, this publicly listed company continues to seek new talent to support their ongoing growth strategies here in Vietnam and around the world.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Focus in on strategies, processes and organizational standards
  • Implement any innovative factory standards and practices.
  • To manage and control all production resources in order to achieve site processing plans.
  • To fully comprehend and execute all levels of the administrative performances of the manufacturing facility.
  • Familiar and have practiced a high level of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Comprehends all laws and regulations of the manufacturing facility in all matters such as safety, disciplinary measures, company rules and standards and social relations.
  • Responsible for managing, developing, training and motivating a team consisting of line managers and operatives.
  • Control high absence levels, conduct performance reviews using defined company procedures when needed and conduct interviews when required.
 
Skills, competencies and qualifications
  • University graduate with a technical and or mechanical major.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within food/beverage, FMCG or pharma.
  • Have a strong business mindset.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent leadership and people management.
  • Able to work in a high pressured environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English and Vietnamese communication skills.
