Electrical Supervisor required with strong experience in the local infrastructure/industrial/Resources sector. Metro/DIDO/FIFO Projects.

The Company:

My client is a leading electrical contractor with a strong client portfolio and industry reputation. With their business starting to show a lot of opportunities in the industrial, resources and infrastructure space they are now looking to expand their Perth operations with a proven and versatile Electrical Supervisor. 

The Position:

In this role, you will work closely with the Project Manager and greater commercial team ensuring all electrical construction and maintenance projects are delivered successfully on-time, to a high standard and incorporating the OHS ethos of this business.

You will be responsible for providing hands-on leadership and supervision ensuring the correct process, procedures and documentation are in place on your sites. You will work across a range of clients and projects in the industrial and associated infrastructure space covering warehousing, manufacturing, process facilities, power generation, non-process infrastructure, government, mining etc.

This role will be a mixture of metro and regional projects so candidates need to be flexible due to the nature of this company's work.
Key Responsibilities:   
  • Day to day delivery of Electrical Projects in the industrial, resources and infrastructure sectors - construction & maintenance
  • You will be able to work with multi-discipline teams and coordinate with the clients and stakeholders on the different sites 
  • You will work closely with the Project Manager ensuring the electrical installations are to the project specs and assisting in the timely procurement of materials.  
  • You will be able to provide hands-on mentorship and advice to the crews and identify the key strengths of your team members
  • You will have a keen eye for quality and work with the leadership team to ensure all documentation and process is in place
  • You will have an excellent OH&S ethos and instill the values of this company from a health and safety perspective
  • You will ensure all your crew members adhere to the site protocols and ensure they have the right permits and training completed
Skills & Experience:
  • Demonstrable and successful electrical project management in a similar business environment - Industrial/Resources/Infrastructure experience essential
  • Sound understanding of the electrical contracting market and possess a WA Electrical License
  • Good IT literacy and ability to use the different software packages
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload - exceptional time management
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and colleagues
