CyberCX is Australia’s leading independent cyber security consultancy organisation. To support our rapid growth, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Managing Consultant to be a key team member of CyberCX’s Security Integration & Engineering team in Perth.

As a Managing Consultant – SI&E, you’ll be building and leading a team of high performing regional Security Integration & Engineering professionals that deliver market leading solutions to our customers and executes on the latest technology trends. In addition, you’ll be planning, managing and reporting on team resourcing and delivering project outcomes for our customers.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver project outcomes and be the state technical escalation for project needs; 
  • Plan and manage team resourcing, ensuring utilisation is aligned to the practice targets;
  • Ensure accurate reporting for team and client deliverables;
  • Support business development activities by building genuine long-term partnerships, relationships, and networks, externally, as well as identifying new opportunities for growth across CyberCX Practices and Functions;
  • Conduct pre-sales activity to ensure solutions and project scopes meet client requirements and team capabilities;
  • Lead, coach and build high performing teams to enable learning, development, and capability uplift.Understand each team member’s skills, drivers and aspirations. Work with them ongoing to develop, raise capability, and build a career path and progression plan;
  • Enhance team’s effectiveness by taking ownership of team issues and goals.  Create a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and accountability through consistent employee engagement;
  • Actively build cross-Practice and cross-Function collaboration with key leaders across CyberCX, and continuously look for ways to add value. Facilitate communication, partnerships, and cross-pollination across the business to allow teams to better engage and service customers;
  • Align and promote the latest technology trends, as well as drive emerging technologies into market.
About you:
  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in professional services, cyber security and/or technology architecture services/industry;
  • Ability to innovate through undertaking research and analysis to inform the direction of our client’s ecosystem architecture;
  • 3 years of relevant team management and people leadership experience;
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant experience;
  • Senior-level certifications from the leading cyber security industry vendor and partners;
  • Cloud experience is preferred but not mandatory;
  • Experience in architecture, design, implementation and integration of security, network and mobility solutions. Including endpoint, firewall, WAF, NAC, data centre, wireless, SD-WAN, internet connectivity, cloud services, unified communications, and remote access;
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills with an ability to build credibility with senior leaders and internal working teams;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build sustainable, scalable solutions and processes to meet complex operational problems;
  • Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner;
  • The ability to build a shared understanding of, and commitment to, CyberCX’s purpose, values and agreed processes and practice.
