General Manager required for major site in Hunter Valley.
Our client is a major, multi-franchise new and used vehicle dealer, with some of the best brands in the market. Their operations are spread over a number of sites in New South Wales and they employ around 200 staff. The Group is currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced applicants for the role of General Manager of one of their sites. There is not necessarily any one particular style of background that would be ideal for this position, what is required though is an operator with strong analytical abilities, who can both recognise areas that the business can improve, and then lead improvement programs to remedy any identified performance issues.
The role will report to the Dealer Principal and will, for the most part, be responsible for the day to day management of all facets of the dealership's operations. Candidates for this position must be able to show that they have successfully managed dealership operations previously, or that they have been a senior member of an automotive group's management team, with the cumulative experience to be able to step up to lead operations in your own right.
