This role is based at a large, multi-franchise dealership, which is part of a larger, privately owned organisation that is renowned for its performance and culture. With multiple dealerships around Australia, the Group is probably amongst the largest players in the Australian market. Due to the incumbent moving to another site, a vacancy presently exists for an experienced Service Manager to take charge of this well-staffed, multi-franchise, busy department.
Townsville is a large, thriving coastal city in north-eastern Queensland. Townsville has access to a variety of world class education facilities, leading edge health care and affordable housing. The city has a diverse economy with strengths in education, healthcare, retail, construction and manufacturing. It is a defence hub and is home to thousands of military personnel and it is planned to be home to a $2billion lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility. Townsville Port is the largest container and automotive port in Northern Australia.
Townsville has several large public assets as a result of its relative position and population. These include Townsville University Hospital, James Cook University, the Australian Institute of Marine Science headquarters, Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, the largest Army Base in Australia at Lavarack Barracks, and RAAF Base Townsville.
