Our client is seeking a fully qualified Automotive Technician to join their dealership group in the Rockhampton area. They have been operating in the area for over 25 years and represent an opportunity to join a stable environment for great career longevity.

Duties of role:
  • Diagnostics and repair of vehicles to manufacturers standards
  • Provide advice in relation to mechanical condition of vehicles
  • Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to service manager and record using in-house databases or reporting systems
  • Provide guidance and training to apprentices
  • Relay information about vehicles to guests in a professional manner
  • Complete monthly e-learning modules
  • Road test vehicles and conduct final assessments prior to delivery or return of vehicle to guest
Essential skills and requirements:
  • Qualifications as an Automotive Technician (Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical)
  • Level 3+ Jaguar Landrover Academy qualification
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience post trade qualification
  • Manual drivers licence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer service focused
  • High attention to detail
