We are on the hunt for a Tech Savvy Business Development professional, who is looking for a permanent career opportunity based just south of Sydney, with lots of autonomous working opportunity too.  You will be an integral part of the Software Team, so you will need to be knowledgeable about technologies across IT infrastructure, storage, data management software and cloud.
  
Essential experience required, but not limited to are:
  • Strong BDM / Relationship building experience to senior executive level clients, in technology departments – ability to speak in technical terms to provide product solutions
  • Strong knowledge around IT infrastructure, storage, data management software and cloud
  • Great interpersonal skills, to enable you to have positive relationships with internal staff and with all levels of customer and vendor contacts 
  • Ability to manage your pipeline and reporting, for monthly forecasts to the Software Sales Manager
  • Strong numerical skills & intermediate MS Office exp
Other responsibilities:
  • Confidently manage and resolve customer issues and complaints
  • Liaise between the vendor and the software business unit and other business units
  • Provide customer service, software sales support, order status updates and quotations to resellers where appropriate
  • Attend reseller and vendor social and training events
  • Acquire and maintain vendor Sales Certifications as required
  • Participate in team building activities
