Chief Operating Officer—Bowral, NSW

Our privately owned service provider is searching for a suitably qualified and experienced Chief Operating Officer, with high-level management, negotiation and facilitation skills, to help our organisation thrive in its next phase of development and growth.

We’ll be looking to you for leadership, direction and management to ensure our organisation’s operational and administrative controls and procedures are firmly in place. 

To this end, you’ll assist the Managing Director in the strategic planning process, including the development and implementation of business plans, and you’ll lead the identification and implementation of operational change initiatives across our organisation.

To succeed in this role you’ll need to have senior executive experience as a CFO, COO, Senior Banker or General Manager in a professional services or financial advisory business. Additionally, you’ll have significant proven experience in delivering commercial outcomes; strong project economics, forecasting and budget capabilities; an excellent track record as a leader and manager; and demonstrated success in managing change. 

You’ll impress us with your can-do attitude, strong customer and consumer-focus orientation, and your ability to relate to client’s needs. 

You’ll be a person of high integrity who possesses exceptional communication, interpersonal and reporting skills. And you’ll have the confidence to deal with complexities and make timely and sound decisions. 

Working in a fast-paced, dynamic and pressurised environment won’t faze you because you’ll be a motivated, meticulous and efficient team player who’ll be able to direct, connect and influence people. 

Ideally, you’ll have formal qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Administration or Law. Having an MBA or further studies, particularly in Business, Finance or Strategy, would be highly desirable.
