About our client:
Our client is a boutique accounting firm with two office locations. This position is to work 4 days a week, based 10 minutes south of the CBD, and 1 day a week based in the north of the river office. Car parking bays with be provided as part of the package benefits

They specialise in business services, tax, SMSF, advisory services to SME business's. The south of the river office consists of 1 Partner and 3 staff, the north of the river office consists of 2 staff, they also have a full time compliance accountant based in Philippines to assist you.

About the position:
This is an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Business Services Manager to work in a growing boutique accounting firm. You will inherit a portfolio of $1m and 3-4 employees to manage, train and mentor.

The client portfolio consists of business's within construction, boat broking, lawyers, physio's, pubs, property, service industries, hotels/motels, engineering, agriculture sectors and so on. The average client turnover range is between $100k to $15m turnover, the largest being $200m turnover which the Partner will also assist with.

They have 60 SMSF funds, which they process inhouse using BGL 360 software. Day to day software packages are Xero Practice Manager and PDF Doc.

With client exposure and interaction from day one, you will become an integral part of a high performing team. Specialising in the SME space, you will have a mixture of compliance and advisory services to provide your clients with.

  • Degree qualified in accounting
  • Ideally CPA/CA qualified  
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an accounting firm
  • Minimum of 1 years management experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills
  • Have full working rights in Australia - Permanent Resident or Citizen
