Our Client is one of the world's largest and most highly regarded community-based emergency services organisations. They are looking for an exceptional ICT Project Manager to join a close-knit high performing team. 
  
The ICT Project Manager's primary role is to ensure the successful delivery of ICT projects within the assigned program of work, 
including monitoring and reporting to senior management and key stakeholders. The ICT Project Manager will bring project management capability and expertise to the program and operate following the existing ICT PMO methodology and processes.
  
Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Oversee ICT Projects implementation, reporting to the Manager –ICT PMO and Programme Management, senior management and project owners.
  • Meet regularly with accountable project stakeholders to discuss project progress and deliverables and to ensure policy and practice implications are appropriately identified and managed.
  • Ensure that high-quality project plans are in place (Schedule, Budget and Resourcing)and that project and program objectives and deliverables are clearly and appropriately reflected.
  • Identify and oversee the management of appropriate communication activities to support project deliverables in consultation with the manager –ICT PMO and Programme Management.
  • Follow ICT program management and methodology (hybrid Agile & Waterfall)
  • Monitor project performance and critical path against plans and provide regular status and exception reports to the Manager –ICT PMO and Programme Management for escalation to the Steering Committee.
  • Provide close monitoring and tracking of project deliverables and dependencies, analysing, identifying and addressing risk and performance issues
  
About you
  
To be successful in this role, you will have significant knowledge, expertise and demonstrated project management experience across the software development domain, including experience in managing Enterprise Application projects such as HRIS, CRM/ERP etc. 
Experience gained working in Government, Emergency Services or Consulting whilst not a pre-requisite would be highly advantageous.
