Based in Pyrmont, we currently have a team of 60, comprising of sales, film, marketing, events and customer loving talent. The Role

Due to our continued and exciting growth, we are looking to hire an experienced Head of Marketing whose focus will be leading our talented marketing team to take our mission global! This role is pivotal in our expansion plans and you will have ownership over our marketing strategy, campaign management, lead acquisition and execution as well as full responsibility for the marketing budget, strategic direction and people management. With a strong events program already established in Australia, this is a varied and exciting role which will allow you to utilise your extensive marketing skills, as well as lead a team from the front. 

What will you be doing?
  • Managing a high performing marketing team to execute integrated campaign activities including direct marketing, social media, content marketing, SEM, SEO and advertising
  • Talent performance and line management for a team of 15+ including Film, Creative, PR, Acquisitions, Community and Marketing.
  • Budget management
  • Marketing and Brand strategy
  • Manage the design process from briefing to sign-off for campaigns 
  • Work closely with the Marketing team and our IT, Design, and Sales colleagues to build and optimise our online presence across website, landing pages, forms, email, social media, blogs, and other online content
  • Develop engaging content across our digital channels, optimised for both lead generation 
  • Develops new marketing strategies and innovation to further enhance the brand and marketing results
  • Track marketing strategy results closely and creates detailed reports with data analysis and other feedback for innovation
  • Plan for further development of community in specific geo-targeting to grow market share
Ideally you will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Business-related discipline
  • Experience developing Marketing strategies
  • People management experience
  • Experience in a similar role with digital marketing and acquisitions
  • Experience in B2C marketing is highly regarded
  • Proven capability to provide innovative and creative thinking
  • Ability to create, run and execute online/offline multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Have a continuous improvement mentality, always looking for ways to improve outcomes and challenging the status quo
  • A demonstrated understanding of branding concepts and the processes required to build and maintain strong brand identity
  • Energetic, driven and passionate about all things marketing
  • Experience using Active Campaign, Iconosquare, Buffer, Google Analytics, Creator Studio, Ads Manager, Google Adwords, Lead Pages, Wordpress
