Fulltime or Part-Time position based in Taree

Do you have a huge amount of personal energy and the ability to energise others?  As a member of VERTO's Employment Services Team you will motivate, upskill and empower people to achieve employment.
No Employment Services experience is necessary.

About the Role
  • Use your highly developed business development skills to market clients, living with a disability, to employers and succeed in a target driven environment.
  • Provide great customer service
  • Build strong networks with community organisations that will add value for job seekers
  • Deliver a tailored service to clients that recognises their individual needs and circumstances
  • Accurately complete a variety of electronic and paper based administration
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong ongoing relationships with local employers through cold calling, marketing, relationship building and general sales concepts
  • Gain a strong understanding of the local labour market and employer needs and use this to create employment opportunities for the caseload
  • Achieve successful outcomes and ongoing employment placements by providing support to employers & participants after the commencement of employment
  • Use strength based, tailored caseload management skills to support and motivate participants to obtain employment or successfully up skill
  • Assist participants to prepare for work by creating resumes, assisting with applications and mock interviews, working on strengths and overcoming barriers in appointments and group settings
  • Meet and exceed placement and outcome targets whilst maintaining a high level of compliance
  • Complete administrative tasks and follow up within required time-frames (case notes, evidence collection, data entry)
  • Provide a high quality of customer service

  • Excellent interpersonal skills which can be used to communicate with and motivate job seekers
  • Strong administration and computer skills
  • Demonstrated experience as an enthusiastic team player
  • Well-developed organisational skills and the ability prioritise competing demands
  • A current NSW Drivers' Licence.
