Silver Chain are seeking to engage an experienced and people-focused Director Business Integration to design, manage and deliver integration and transition plans as Silver Chain expands its community health and aged care business over 2021/2022 on a 12-month contract.

Newly created appointment - Director of Business Integration
Reporting into the Executive Director, Victoria, this position will be responsible for the management and delivery of business integration plans as Silver Chain partners with and acquires purpose driven, leading community health and aged care organisations, on the East Coast of Australia.  

Key Responsibilities: 
The Director of Business Integration will be responsible for the development and implementation of a considered and detailed strategy that ensures service continuity for clients, and recognises the importance of employee engagement in delivering successful integrations. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their ability to lead with EQ and compassion, as well as being able to focus on the detail and implement process across varied business units.
  
Further responsibilities include: 
  • Ensuring all processes and plans are reflective of Silver Chain’s expectation of care and service quality for our clients
  • Working to maintain the trust of employees with clear communication and with sensitivity to cultural and emotional issues
  • Enhancing employee engagement and retention strategies
  • Providing clear and concise communication with the executive team
  
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Experience working within the health and/or aged care sector and the ability to engage with and build rapport with clinical staff
  • Experience managing the strategic and operational integration of service focused organisations
  • Engaging communication style and able to operate and manage integration with integrity and understanding
  • Adaptability to work in evolving situations, and motivate teams across multiple locations in balance with the scope and pace of projects.
  • Innovative mindset that can design new ways of solving complex issues
  • Autonomous working style; able to operate independently as required
