Our home care team can provide privately funded in-home services, government funded home care packages and disability services across Metropolitan Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula, the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

About the role 
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Care Consultant to join our Home Care Packages Team in Victoria. The role is instrumental in providing support and advice to Home Care Packages clients to assist them to keep living at home. The role will be based in Arcare’s Retirement Village in Point Lonsdale and managing case load of clients in and around Greater Geelong. Additionally, this role would be a point of contact for residents in the retirement village who are wanting information re home care packages, and suite of services provided by Arcare Home Care.
  
Skills and experience

Essential
·         Tertiary qualification e.g. Bachelor in Welfare or Human Services, Social
          Work, Nursing or Allied Health is    
          desirable.
·         Experience and knowledge of Disability and Aged care sectors,
·         Current Drivers license, Police Clearance and NDIS worker screening
·         Ability to work autonomously with strong communication and reporting
          skills.
  
Desirable
  • Experience in working with Home Care Packages clients
  • Knowledge of Carelink + would be an advantage
