In your new role you will:
- Read and interpret drawings, weld and fabricate high quality steel components for a variety of industries.
- Manage competing priorities to meet production targets while ensuring quality control.
- Adhere to workplace policies and procedures, work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Ensure safe operation of a plant and equipment at all times.
- At least three years’ experience in sheet metal fabrication, welding, , overhead crane and production assembly in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Welding skills of a high standard and ideally a Certificate 3 in Engineering Fabrication (Boilermaking/Welding) or equivalent with strong drawing interpretation skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift 20 kg with a strong work ethic and willingness to contribute.
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to follow procedures and a focus on safety.
