In your new role you will:
  • Read and interpret drawings, weld and fabricate high quality steel components for a variety of industries.
  • Manage competing priorities to meet production targets while ensuring quality control.
  • Adhere to workplace policies and procedures, work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Ensure safe operation of a plant and equipment at all times.
  You will have:
  • At least three years’ experience in sheet metal fabrication, welding, , overhead crane and production assembly in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Welding skills of a high standard and ideally a Certificate 3 in Engineering Fabrication (Boilermaking/Welding) or equivalent with strong drawing interpretation skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift 20 kg with a strong work ethic and willingness to contribute.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to follow procedures and a focus on safety.

This is a full-time permanent role. The successful candidate will need to undergo a police check, drug and alcohol screen and have a valid driver’s license. Forklift license is highly desirable.
