A highly reputed FMCG organisation who employ thousands of staff across the country and have a strong appetite for growth. Located in the Parramatta surrounds, this business has grown to have operations throughout Australia and New Zealand. The business is a major player within a large and highly competitive industry.
  
The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will leverage off your strong finance background to maintain and develop the financial accounting and reporting, statutory reporting and tax compliance for the organisation across Australia and New Zealand. Play a pivotal role in the delivery of accurate and timely information to senior stakeholders for key business decision making.      
  
The core tasks aligned to his role will include, but not be limited to:
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial accounts for the Australia and New Zealand region
  • Preparation of P&L, Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Responsible for all compliance obligations and taxation reporting including but not limited to corporate tax, superannuation and payroll tax for ANZ region
  • Prepare monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reporting packages
  • Work with external consultants to prepare all annual statutory reporting and compliance
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to provide accurate financial information
  • Improve accounting processes and procedures and be involved in systems implementation
The Successful Applicant
  • Will hold a professional qualification (CA or CPA)
  • Have previous experience in a similar role with a focus on ANZ financial and statutory reporting 
  • Has strong understanding of local and New Zealand accounting and statutory standards
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication
  • A driven and proactive team player able to adapt to a fast-paced work culture
