OUR CLIENT
Our client is a multi-disciplined advisory group that helps their customers manage the technical and economic life of their assets. They provide results and deliver insights that maintain and improve the integrity of high value assets, optimising performance over their life. Their solutions support a variety of business critical activities through testing, assurance, calibration, condition and compliance monitoring.

THE ROLE
This position is responsible for the Occupational Hygiene practice including driving growth business and building a team. Technical responsibilities include:
  • Working with clients to recognise, assess and control occupational health hazards to protect worker health.
  • Providing training and mentoring to junior technicians.
  • Growing the practice and recruitment of new technicians.
  • Providing business development and tender support across our technical disciplines.
  • Planning, preparing and executing occupational hygiene monitoring programs, exposure monitoring surveys and health risk assessments.
  • Conducting building condition surveys and assessments for asbestos and other hazardous materials.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You will need a genuine interest in helping others and finding solutions for your clients that support their core business. Your skillset will be a mix of technical experience and a desire to provide clients with a range of solutions that the broader business can supply. 
  • Post Graduate qualifications in Occupational Hygiene and/or Science and experience in a similar Occupational Hygiene role.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing Occupational Hygiene services in the areas of chemical, physical and biological hazards with a sound knowledge of occupational hygiene principles, OHS systems, hazard identification and risk assessment.
  • Licensed Asbestos Assessor (and associated experience).
  • Experience in contaminated land assessment is desired
  • Demonstrated project management skills are an asset.
