Purpose of the Role:
The concrete worker is a specialist tradesmen who works either independently or as part of a crew to plan and/or
carry out specialist concrete and form work within the structures and maintenance departments on a day to day
basis, optimising the use of company resources and contributing to the successful completion of contracts i.e.
customers are satisfied and all targets (Safety, Quality, Environment, Productivity and profit) are achieved.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Set targets on a day-to-day basis in accordance with project plans and outcomes.
Plan tasks to ensure they are completed efficiently and to the required specification and standard.
Ensure efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment.
Collate and forward to the Supervisor all daily records and other required reports and documentation.
Conduct, monitor and report on site quality control testing
Support, implement and adhere to H&S policies and procedures.
Support a culture that supports and maintains zero harm, environmental and sustainability practice and
management.
Promote a safe and environmentally sound working environment and a culture of safe and responsible
behaviors and attitudes, ensuring safety

3 years’ construction experience
ConstructSafe Tier 1 Ticket
Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
Working at Heights

Skills and Experience
3 years’ or more construction experience
Has knowable of concrete or formwork
Ensures the operate plant and power tools correctly and a daily plant/power tool checks is carried out
Works in alignment with leading hand to deliver tasks to meet project targets
ensuring their productivity adds value to the team
Contributes to Morning Team Briefing (pre-start) and Weekly Toolbox Talks
Maintains good relations with teammates
Has the ability to converse with team members at all levels
Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements relating to regulatory and industry standards
Willing to learn and go on BCITO training
Able to problem solve and has a collaborative approach with other team members
