The Role:
  
  • Manage field investigation programs
  • Analyse and design of tailings dams and mine waste management facilities
  • Engineering reports, drawings, specifications, presentations
  • Supervise bulk earthworks construction for Q/A and advise clients and contractors
  • Geotechnical site investigation and design, site characterization, soft soil engineering, foundation assessment, seismic assessment and liquefaction analysis, seepage and piping assessment, and construction support from tendering to inspections
  
The Person:
  
  • Degree qualification in either Civil Engineering or Geotechnical
  • Five years + experience in engineering site investigation and design
  • RPEQ or eligible.
  • Proficiency in GeoStudio or Rocscience, AutoCAD, FLAC, Plaxis highly desirable
  • Leadership skills with a proven aptitude to mentor and develop junior engineers, designers and technicians.
  • Ability to travel within Australia and Internationally on short term assignments as required
