A new role is available to join a well-established oil and gas operating company in the role of Completions Supervisor for an upcoming offshore drilling program. 

The role is predominantly an offshore position, but will involve onshore work during the project planning and preparation stages. 

The purpose of the role is to review and manage the delivery of approved work programs safely, on time, within the approved budget and in accordance with company well engineering construction standards. 

Responsibilities will include;
  • Active safety leadership during operations at the wellsite
  • Perform the role of technical specialist for subsea completion operations and interfaces with subsea systems and well test equipment on board the rig
  • Offshore planning and execution of subsea completion activities
  • Responsible for offshore completion, installation testing activities and input into daily reports, non-conformance reports and well handover packages
  • Interface with other company subsea, well construction teams to ensure all equipment, interfaces and procedures are available and compliant with company requirements
  • Interface closely with vendors/suppliers in preparation of master equipment list to ensure equipment is available for installation in accordance with rig schedules
  • Responsible for the documented close out of lessons learned  
Suitable applicants will have;
  • Minimum 10 years industry experience in subsea completion operations
  • Strong background in completion, intervention and well testing (subsea) operations
  • Operating company experience
  • Engineering or industry related Engineering qualification (preferred)
  • Familiarity with subsea drilling equipment, drill floor operation and rig interfaces
  • Ability to review and develop Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis
  • Proficiency in slickline, e-line, tubing running, well testing, wellbore clean up, fishing and CT activities
  • Valid BOSIET (cold water compressed air) and medical certificate
  • Valid IWCF certification
This is a long-term contract role which is expected to run until mid/late 2021 and offers an attractive day rate, in addition to the opportunity to work as part of a technically excellent team.
