Scrum Master/ Business Project Manager

Our client, a highly reputable organisation, is currently seeking the services of a highly experienced and versatile Scrum Master / Business Project Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join a global brand and to assist in the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously. 

Role & Responsibilities

  • Project planning and scheduling
  • Project reporting to key stakeholders
  • Ability to embrace and manage change in a fast and productive manner
  • Facilitates definition of the scope and context of business requirements analysis for initiatives
  • Manages business requirements change requests throughout the project lifecycle
  • Liaises with Technical & non technical ensure that the technical stakeholders
  • Coach a team with limited agile experience; defining and implementing the agile processes, ceremonies and tools that will help the business plan, track and deliver more effectively
  • Manage dependencies within the project team, with BAU teams and other projects; ensuring alignment across all stakeholders
  • Provide project management support to work-streams as required
  • Provide general project management support across the project as required
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in Managing large projects in the Financial Services industry. Candidates that have Insurance experience will also be desired
  • Strong end to end Project Management experience within Applications and Software
  • Experience of managing projects in Agile/Waterfall methodology
  • Experience in complex Project planning and delivery
  • A good understanding of structured project delivery methodologies
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver objectives within strict timelines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective inter-departmental and organisational relationships
  • Sound organisational skills, with the ability to priorities conflicting tasks in order to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external clients
  • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business or a related discipline
  • Experienced in Implementing relevant Agile practices into business teams who are not familiar with the Agile approach
  • Supporting business stakeholders through an Agile project delivery model where there is a lot of ambiguity around the nature and timing of the change they will experience
  • Experienced using "Jira" and "Confluence”
