Role for a Cisco IP Telephony consultant to come in as the IP Telephony expert to deliver end to end solution

  • Lead the technical engagement, including Architecture and Design

We are partnering with one of our Business Solutions clients to find an experienced IP Telephony Consultant for an initial contract role supporting a large end client.

Your new role:
This role will see you fill the role of the Telephony Specialist role to deliver technical expertise on all IPT telephony requirements as required by the project.
Your role will include:
  • Represent the client as the voice specialists and lead the technical engagement across the project
  • Ensure that all telephony architecture and designs delivered by external vendors meet the needs and requirements of the end client
  • Deliver project documentation as required, such as architectural designs and test plans
  • Provide any relevant information as requested to 3rd parties that contribute to, and facilitate, the migration activities and planning
  • Assist with any preparation work within the current environment to facilitate project works
  • Assist with the upgrade/migration of voice services
  • Undertake other related activities as directed by the Project Manager.
  
  
Your Key Outcomes:
  • Delivery of specialist telephony services and facilitation of successful outcomes for the client relating to the project objectives and scope
  • Engage with local site support prior, during, and post migration, to ensure a smooth transition of IPT services and equipment
  • Perform data gathering activities to understand all aspects of the IP Telephony for sites owned (network, gateway, handset, configurations, etc)
  • Manage Network SMEs input into AD, DHCP, LAN audits and input into UAT and data gathering deliverables
  • Engagement with local service providers as part of the porting process.
  • Assist other technicians as back up for to ensure a successful conclusion of the site migrations

Your background, skills and experience:
  • CCNP Collab
  • UCCX expertise
  • ARC/CUEAC expertise
  • Also experience in with IP Telephony style migrations.
