Our client is a Financial Services Dealer Group that specialise in licensing Tax and Accounting professionals throughout Australia to deliver a premium Financial Planning service.

This firm’s offering enables Tax and Accounting professionals to provide high-quality Financial Planning advice, with the full support of investment, technical, administration, and compliance professionals.

This Newcastle based firm holds its own Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) and has a growing network of Authorised Representatives who value the importance of being able to go beyond the traditional scope of tax and accounting advice and provide a comprehensive range of services to their clients.


This position is without a doubt very unique and exciting! The role would be ideal for a senior paraplanner who has been in the industry for a minimum of 3 – 5 years. In this position you must possess;
  • Ability to organise, track, and co-ordinate high volumes of tasks
  • Ability to liaise with external stakeholders and ensure their expectations are met.
  • Ability to determine priorities and co-ordinate a team to meet those priorities.
  • Experience in carrying out the above in a Financial Services environment
  • You should ideally be familiar with the advice process
This opportunity is not client-facing, you will be assisting the team in identifying priorities, managing external stakeholders and clients. You will be overlooking insurance applications, making sure they’re put through effectively and efficiently. This very successful firm sees over 1000 advice documents come through per year, and as such, this role requires someone who is at the top of the game.
  • Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning
  • Willingness to further studies (to meet FASEA requirements)
  • Minimum 3-5 years as a paraplanner
  • Knowledge around broad complex areas of advice
  • High attention to detail

We're looking for a degree qualified Paraplanner, ideally with 3-5 years of industry experience, who is either FASEA qualified, or working towards it. Experience in insurance, superannuation, and compliance knowledge, coupled with attention to detail are all essential skills. Most of all, it’s your high degree of communication and presentation skills along with your enthusiasm to help advisers and clients that will really set you apart and see you thrive in this exciting role.
