Personal Care Attendants (PCA) | Rosebud & Mornington Peninsula - Casual Bank
We are looking to recruit additional casual Carers who would be available to back our core team. During these unpredictable, changing times, we continue to be committed to our clients and want to make sure that the service we provide is constant in their lives.  To do this, we need to ensure that we have enough direct care staff who are available to support clients at their designated times. 

ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) with Prestige Inhome Care exists to support clients with activities of daily living, light domestic duties, access to the community and respite all based around ensuring clients can live independently, to remain in the comfort, security and familiarity in their own home. We service our clients on the Mornington Peninsula; locations can include Mornington, Mount Martha, Dromana, Rosebud, Sorrento and more.

PCA daily tasks could include:
  • Personal care: showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene
  • Housework: cleaning, laundry, meal preparation
  • Domestic duties: shopping, pet care etc
  • Transport; you would need to have a current driver’s licence, a reliable roadworthy vehicle and full comprehensive car insurance.

Personal Care Attendants are committed to helping people live happily and safely in their homes for as long as possible.

ABOUT YOU
You are a fantastic communicator. You are not easily flustered and remain calm and collected in all sorts of situations.
You know how to get your point across to be understood and you easily understand others. After having met you, people remember the way you made them feel. This is probably because of a natural warmth you demonstrate and you the fact that you are a good listener.
You enjoy being productive and getting things one. Because you are proactive and organised, you have a knack for helping people which makes you reliable and people trust you.
  • Qualification - Cert III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or have completed your first year of your Nursing degree/diploma
  • Hold a current driver's licence and have access to a vehicle
  • Must have CPR, First Aid, Manual Handling, Police Check
  • Relevant care experience desirable however not mandatory
