About the role
To support Prestige’s growth, the role of NDIS Sign Up Consultant has been developed to deliver person-centred onboarding services to new and prospective NDIS clients.
  
Working closely with Funded Programs, Care Specialist and Service Delivery, the Consultant will attend consultation visits, complete intake assessments – travelling to client’s homes or hospitals/ rehab/ residential facility; and develop care plans – including an understanding of client funding, to ensure a smooth, complete, quality onboarding experience.
  
A component of this role is task oriented. Completing comprehensive assessments, developing individualised care plans, document administration, and service agreement follow ups are a daily requirement.
  
This role is centred around being a representative of the Prestige brand. An understanding or willingness to learn about inclusion and about the social model of disability is essential. You will utilise your working knowledge of the NDIS and information management systems to enhance the intake process in accordance with Prestige service options, policies and procedure.

You can confidently navigate your way around operating and online systems. You will have a sound understanding of NDIS legislations and rules, including provisions relating to reasonable and necessary support. Because you are proactive and organised, you have a knack for helping people which makes you reliable and people trust you.
  
As this role is task driven, you will have sound administrative and self-management skills, including the ability to work to deadlines and resolve challenges quickly and professionally. You will be able to apply your solid understanding and knowledge of the NDIS and skills to ensure the safest outcomes for both clients and carers.
  
If you are a disabled person and/or family carer with lived experience of accessing the NDIS for yourself or a person you love, this could be the role for you.
  
Experience in a similar role in an NDIS administration or case management role is ideal. Related qualifications are welcome, Degree or Cert III or IV in disability or community services. Must have own reliable transportation.
