A new casual opportunity has become available for an Enrolled Nurse to support a valued Prestige client in Geelong for active overnight nursing shifts

  • Casual EN position located in Geelong
  • Deliver 1:1 clinical nursing care in-home
  • Active overnights with one client! 30 hours per week total
Prestige Inhome Care is a private provider of home-based nursing and care services. The service we offer is meaningful not only to our clients, but our client’s families. Our Nurses are committed to helping people live happily and safely in their own homes for as long as possible.

We are now looking for an Enrolled (EN-Div 2)  to join our team of committed nursing staff on a casual bank basis working on (3) active overnight shifts per week in the Geelong region, with one stand-alone client to commence ASAP.

ABOUT THE ROLE
  • As a nurse with Prestige Inhome Care, you will work collaboratively with the larger nursing team and our case managers to provide high quality clinical care services to clients needing support in their own homes.
  • Active overnight nursing shifts on offer. Approx days & times include; Monday, Wednesday & Friday nights 9pm - 7am and or 10pm - 8am. (Please note this is a casual opportunity whereby our requirements can change, pending the client and their care needs.)
  • 30 hours per week on a casual basis, located close to home in Geelong.
ABOUT YOU

This role would suit someone looking for longer hours with one individual client on a regular basis. The successful applicant would be required to work Active overnights three (3) nights per week. This is to ensure our client has 24/7 clinical care, to remain at in the comfort of their own home. You are a fantastic communicator. You are not easily flustered and remain calm and collected in all sorts of situations.
The ideal candidates would also have;
  • Completed EN Nursing qualification with a minimum of 6 months experience - essential for the role
  • Current AHPRA Nursing Registration
  • A current driver’s licence, a reliable road worthy vehicle and full comprehensive insurance.
  • Community nursing previous experience is highly advantageous for this role
  • Recent clinical experience and competency, particularly in wound care and current medication management
  • Valid CPR (issued within the last 12 months)
  • Available to work active overnights on Monday, Wednesday & Friday nights.
