Disability Support Workers exists to support clients with activities of daily living, light domestic duties, access to the community and respite all based around ensuring clients can live independently, to remain in the comfort, security and familiarity in their own home.

Our Carers are committed to helping people live happily and safely in their homes for as long as possible. The service we offer is meaningful not only to our clients, but our client’s families.
Daily tasks could include:
  • Transport shifts: you would need to have a current driver’s licence, a reliable roadworthy vehicle and full comprehensive car insurance.
  • Personal care: showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, hygiene
  • Housework: cleaning, laundry, meals, shopping, pet care, paying bills
  • Socialisation: escorting for special events, lunches and morning/afternoon tea
We understand that the quality of our services and the outcomes for our clients are only as good as the team providing this support.

You are a fantastic communicator. You are not easily flustered and remain calm and collected in all sorts of situations.
You know how to get your point across to be understood and you easily understand others. After having met you, people remember the way you made them feel. This is probably because of a natural warmth you demonstrate and you the fact that you are a good listener.
You enjoy being productive and getting things one. Because you are proactive and organised, you have a knack for helping people which makes you reliable and people trust you.
  • You will have a minimum of 6 months experience in personal care and/or a Cert III or IV in disability, aged care, individual support
  • You will have a current driver’s licence, a reliable road worthy vehicle and full comprehensive insurance
  • Experience in working with clients living with disabilities and challenging behaviours is an advantage
  • Balance your work and home commitments with flexible working hours
  • Work with your very own clients
