Immediate start for a Project Estimator / Project Administrator to join a Melbourne based fit-out contractor. Combines Project Admin and Estimation

The Company

You will be joining an established fit-out contractor who have offices in Melbourne and Sydney.  Employing around 35 staff in the Melbourne business they are looking to add a Estimator / Project Administrator to the team - with a strong focus on Estimation.

Projects range in value from $100k - $2M, primarily within the commercial interiors and medical facilities sectors.

They require additional resources in the Estimating team due to the increased in work expected in 2021.


The Role.

As a dual role, the emphasis of the position is to support the lead Estimator preparing project budgets, by:

Liaising and engaging with suppliers and trades for quotes and prices
  • Reviewing tender documentation
  • Completing take-offs from plans
  • Comparing pricing and quotations
  • Understanding the scope of work and ensuring trade inclusions to match the scope.
  • Liaising with Project Managers t support project
  • Preparing purchase orders
  • Preparing project timelines
