Who are we looking for?
Gen Physio is currently seeking an experienced Clinical Team Leader specialising in Speech Pathology who is able to:
  • Mentor and lead a team of high performing clinicians
  • Demonstrate initiative in prioritising your workload
  • Adapt to and work collaboratively within a fast-growing multidisciplinary team
  • Deliver excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Build and foster exceptional working relationships with all stakeholders
Your new role
At Gen Physio, no two days are the same as you encounter new & exciting challenges, though some typical responsibilities that our Clinical Team Leaders face include:
  • Independently manage clients (assessments, diagnosis, planning & treatments)
  • Provide client-driven, evidence-based therapy services to clients in community environments, focusing on their personal goal attainment
  • Liaise with external stakeholders inc. families, health professionals & educational staff to provide individualised support plans
  • Provide accurate, timely and high-quality reports
  • Work with a diverse caseload of clients - with a focus on paediatrics and young adults
  • Managing and supervising clinicians through weekly team meetings and 1:1 mentoring sessions
  • Assisting with the management of complaints and incidents, as well as responding to queries from your team on organisational processes
  • Liaising directly with the Senior Management Team and other Clinical Team Leaders
  • Collaborate in joint sessions with other MDT members

To be successful for this role, you will have:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Full SPA Registration
  • National Police Check & First Aid Certificate (or willing to attain)
  • Public Indemnity (PI) Insurance with a minimum of $10 million cover (or willing to attain)
  • NDIS Workers Clearance Check (or willing to attain)
  • Previous NDIS Experience will be highly regarded
  • Passion for helping people of all ages and ethnicity
  • Capability to work with all stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for your clients
  • The desire to be challenged and further progress your career
  • Excellent time management & problem-solving skills
