The Company

The Role

Due to their already full work-book for 2021, combined with their strategic and sustainable growth plans, an exciting opportunity exists for a Civil Engineer to work alongside leading professionals delivering a range of interesting, complex and challenging land, urban and road infrastructure projects.

They are looking for an individual who is looking to take a step forwards in their career and to continue moving forwards with them for many years to come.

The Responsibilities

As a Civil Engineer, you will work both individually and as part of a team to deliver a range of land, urban and road infrastructure projects.  You will be exposed to all aspects of the engineering design of these projects and so will be a versatile and well-rounded engineer; not pigeon-holed into one niche area.  In time, your responsibilities will increase and there will be ample promotion and development opportunities.

The Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Civil Design Engineer
  • At least 2 years experience working to local design code and standards
  • The ability to communicate with all stakeholders - both internally and externally
  • Self-motivated team player with a desire to succeed
  • Able to demonstrate experience of designing a range of urban development projects such as Roads and Pavement, Earthworks, Stormwater drainage, WSUD, Water and Sewerage, Gas, Power and Telecommunications reticulations.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of local Government and Service Authority, construction standards, specifications and processes
  • A solid understanding of the planning process
