Reporting to the General Manager – ITC, the Senior Microsoft Support Specialist will lead the enhancement of the existing Microsoft tech-stack help to shape the future architectural landscape of the BlueCross ITC environment. This role will be focused on the development, testing, deployment and support of significant upgrades across our MS products, with a focus on Dynamics as the core component. You will work closely with all of our business units and SMEs to ensure that the ITC environment delivers on all required business outcomes. This includes, but is not limited to, the development, testing, support and deployment of enhancements and products after conducting workshops with designated user groups and documenting outcomes.

You will also be required to work closely with all third-party vendors to ensure the support and delivery of assigned projects. You will be in charge of both BAU and greenfield projects, beginning with requirement gathering and all the way through development, testing and delivery.

The role offers you plenty of opportunities to shape the projects and bring variety to your role. It is a  challenging role, however, you will be part of an 8 member team where there is plenty of support and collaboration. 

We are looking for someone with:
  • Strong SDLC experience with Microsoft Dynamics and the suite of Microsoft products
  • Good understanding of business processes and the ability to analyse and assess changes and impacts resulting from the change
  • Excellent communicator. Able to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated understanding of change management activities and how they are required for the success of the project
  • Demonstrated experience with managing external vendors
