We are seeking a Finance Manager with vast Manufacturing industry experience to provide expertise in determining the manufacturing cost of each of our products. It is essential that you have experience with a large ERP system and must be able to demonstrate high level knowledge with these ERP systems. This role is initially part time/permanent but will go to full time hours in the near future and will be based on site in our offices as we are an essential service, so you must be comfortable to work in a safe office environment where social distancing protocols are in place, you will have your own office. The successful candidate will be given a travel permit.

The role:
This position will see you reporting to the Executive team and responsible for the following duties.
  • Financial reporting and month end duties
  • Producing Management report pack
  • Variance Analysis with commentary
  • Heavy costing: COGs journals, BOM's, Labour, creating templates, standard pricing
  • Job profitability reports
  • Calculate overhead rates
  • Stock and inventory control
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Stakeholder management with Operations, Senior Management and External Auditors
They will also provide financial and operational support through monthly financial reporting, KPI’s and analysis of cost performance, to various levels of management within the business and support the implementation of benchmarking and performance improvement initiatives. The role would suit a person who has previous costing experience and enjoys working collaboratively across the business. 
To be successful, you will:
  • Be CPA or CA qualified 
  • Have had vast experience in the Manufacturing industry and be extremely strong with Cost Accounting and affiliated reporting
  • Proven experience in delivering financial information to identify business opportunities/challenges, recommend alternate actions, and oversee implementation
  • Have a strong personality, impeccable communication and well developed interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to oversee two staff members and check their work
  • proven ability to deal with complexities and high-level information
  • Self-starter who displays tolerance, innovation, creativity, decisiveness, flexibility and open mindedness to alternative views
  • Be able to work on-site in the office during COVID19 as we are an essential service (permits will be provided for successful candidate.
