As part of the People and Culture Team, the Communications Lead will implement the internal communications strategy that builds employee understanding, engagement and alignment with Bradken’s strategy.
  
As a highly motivated mid to senior communications specialist with tertiary qualifications in Communications you will have exceptional writing skills and have led strategic communication projects in a multi-channel environment and can confidently influence across all levels of a global organisation.
  
You will provide strategic internal communication advice, insights and input while working collaboratively across the organisation to implement the internal communications strategies, plans and activities that align with Bradken’s vision.
  
You will influence and own this space to support leaders in delivering engaging content to employees for key projects, initiatives and internal change management processes. You will play a pivotal role in the delivery of a well-researched internal communication strategy and action plan that supports employees’ awareness and understanding of our goals and strategies, and you will have a particular passion for safety communications.
  
You are creative and can build and maintain content and presence across Bradken’s internal and external digital communication channels with a focus on the user experience, in particular the intranet, corporate pages of the external website and contributing to internal and external social media platforms.
  
You enjoy working flexibly and can adapt to an ever-changing and challenging environment.

We are open for this role to be based in Newcastle or Brisbane.
This is a 12-month fixed term parental leave cover role and we are looking for a start date in January 2021.
