Payroll and HR Project Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll and HR Project Officer to work with our locations spanning across Canada that includes Quebec, Ontario and Alberta. 
Bradken offers flexible working with the option for this role to work from home.
This short term 3-month temporary project role is going to be critical to the HR Services team at Bradken in developing how we operate more effectively and efficiently. You will report to the HR Services Lead and will work closely with the local Payroll Specialist, HR & Benefits Coordinator and also the personnel at each location.
Your key focus in this role will involve transitioning to an upgraded time and attendance system and looking for improvements to current processes and streamlining processes in both Payroll and HR administration across all locations in the Americas. 
You will be a bilingual (fluent in French and English) payroll professional and have extensive experience in time and attendance systems and collaboration within multiple business functions.
Your understanding and experience working on Kronos and Ceridian Dayforce will help support the realization of business objectives and HR change concerning standardization and automation where available.
You are detail and improvement-oriented and can suggest best practices across payroll and timekeeping systems.
You love a challenge and have strong problem solving and analytical skills with a ‘can-do’ attitude and can get up to speed quickly to plan, prepare and anticipate upcoming project activities. 
You are resilient and can work in a complex project under time pressure and while managing the moving targets, the ambiguity between quality, time, budget, customer satisfaction.
You are a champion in innovation and influencer who can help Bradken shift from a local to a centralized model.
This is a fixed-term opportunity from December 2020 to the end of March 2021 for an experienced payroll professional who enjoys projects and change management.
