Our Client is a significant figure within the Civil Construction and Infrastructure space across NSW. This role will oversee the delivery of companies Training Process and the Administrative requirements associated with it. If successful, You will form part of a Resourcing team that consists of four other people.

Reporting to the Resource Manager, you are expected to perform with versatility and integrity across several key functions within the business. Whilst you are employed to provide specialist Training and administrative support, your ability to own the legislative and procedural requirements of Workplace Training is where you will stand out. This role is integral to bridging the gap between the internal subject matter experts, the HR and Operations team within the business.

Most importantly it is your ability to connect with the workers that will set you apart. This position requires a personable individual that understands the operations of the business and can develop a training needs analysis to support not only the current, but upcoming requirements of the organisation to best upskill the workforce.

Snapshot of the job’s requirements:
  • Complete Training needs analysis of the current workforce.
  • Provide a Cultural shift by engaging with the workforce
  • Oversee training audits and compliance
  • Manage the training delivery process
  • Process improvements, training and implementation
  • Liaise with internal subject matter experts to ensure theoretical components meet the business requirements
  • Develop strong ties with external Training organisations
  • Manage the training compliance of workers in Pegasus and Damstra
  • Provide administrative support to the entire Resourcing team
If you can prove the below, you are in with a shot:  
  • You will be high achieving and focused on delivering results
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications - Certificate IV Trainer/Assessor 
  • Previous experience with Compliance systems (Pegasus/ Damstra)
  • Working knowledge of relevant NSW legislation and regulations
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Extensive administrative experience with Construction industry experience
  • Previous experience as a Project Administrator desirable
  • Ability to self-manage and work part of a collaborative team
