The Role
  
You will undertake national recruitment activities in the aviation sector (yes travel will bounce back) as well as provide generalist HR support to the HR Manager and business.
  • Liaising with Business Managers, HR Manager and Operations teams to ascertain recruitment needs and select high quality, suitable candidates.
  • Managing the recruitment process and onboarding of direct personnel.
  • Undertaking advertising and marketing activities to attract new employees.
  • Screening of applications and short-listing of job candidates and management and administration of job applications via the recruitment tool (ATS).
  • Supporting interviewing and selection of candidates.
  • Selection of candidates to meet diversity initiatives (e.g. increase female and indigenous participation rates).
  • Booking and reviewing of pre-employment medicals (and other employment related checks and due diligence).
  • Managing jobs board and external advertisements ensuring professional and current content.
  • Undertaking reference checks, credential verification and obtaining clearances (where required) for candidates.
  • Onboarding of new starters including issuing employment contracts, relevant new starter documentation and scheduling/facilitating inductions.
  • Providing considered advice, assistance and support to Managers on the management and administration of the recruitment process
  • Working with the HR Manager to identify and develop recruitment solutions and processes that are conducive to meeting business objectives.
  • Managing the Talent Management System (and other related systems) including enrolment into online learning courses.
  • Providing generalist HR support to managers on Awards, employee matters, reviewing and drafting employment contracts and letters, wellness programs and HSE compliance.
  • Completing end of month /quarter reporting.
  
Success Looks Like This
  • Previous experience in high volume recruitment
  • Experience in HR generalist support
  • Demonstrated ability to meet targets and achieve business outcomes
  • Proficient with Microsoft MS Office Suite
  • Relationship builder with excellent communication skills
