Casual opportunities would suit those who are currently studying towards a qualification and would like to work towards securing a permanent position, educators who find this flexibility works around their life and those who enjoy the flexibility, and enjoy working in different rooms with all the children and educators.

About our Williamstown Centre:
Our Williamstown centre is licensed to 178, with 2 floors, underground parking and 4 outdoor areas for the children. It is set in a beautiful area with bus stops and coffee shops nearby. Close to public transport with onsite parking. We are excited to welcome you to join our team.

Our Educators and management team are all extremely passionate about providing quality care and practising the Explorers philosophy. We explore and share diverse pedagogical practices and experiences.

We are searching for educators who:

  • Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
  • Working within various teams you will be required to engage and provide a high-quality learning curriculum for all children and families. 
An understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach and a passion for sustainable practice will be highly regarded. The successful candidate must be comfortable with technology and have the willingness to learn new skills.
 
Your Role:
  • Casual - To be able to accept shifts the same morning to cover sickness.
  • You will have the opportunity once you establish yourself to be given shifts in advance. 
  • You will be expected to support the team in the daily running of the room
  • Show initiative and also follow direction
  • Be able to communicate with families and children
  • Have an understanding of the Early Years Framework and demonstrate how you use it in your daily practice. 
Key requirements:
  • Certificate III in Children's Services / Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent
  • First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Working with children check
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Framework and National Quality Standards
