The Finance Analyst will support the Marketing and Partner Sales leadership teams in gathering data and delivering meaningful operational insights to enhance the performance of the team and organization. This member of the team will be responsible for reporting, analysis, and will be tasked with enhancing the ongoing reporting to the teams they support.
   

Responsibilities
:
  • Conduct thorough expense and invoice review and conduct variance analysis during month-end close
  • Analyze GL postings for corrections to cost assignments/amortization
  • Input forecast updates and work with Marketing team to adjust for timing
  • Create monthly reporting package for Marketing team leadership including variance analysis, trend analysis, forecast accuracy, PO compliance, headcount, and mitigate budget issues
  • Assist in creation of business cases for partnerships, technology, and campaign investments
  • Assist in creation of marketing bookings forecasting process to help drive further accuracy in marketing planning and execution, evaluate lead gen effectiveness
  • Create quarterly updates to addressable market reporting and prepare for input into BI solution
  • Ensure accuracy of partner revenue reporting tied to compensation for Sales and Account Management teams
  • Create enterprise wide channel partner growth business cases to support incremental investment and sales targets
  • Assist in general financial analysis as needed including expense detail reporting, ad-hoc analysis, ROI/NPV reporting, DCF analysis, Corporate Reporting, and any other Allocation related requests

Qualifications:
  • Education: BA/BS Degree in Business or closely related field
  • 3 years of experience in a financial analyst role, managing forecasts, presenting insights and financial results, and managing data sets in disparate systems
Critical Skills:
  • Self-starter and independent strategic thinker
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Proven experience in creating KPI’s and communicating meaningful insights to various levels of an organization
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
