  About the role
  • Responsible for inbound event sales, leaning into business development activity
  • Take ownership of your clients from the time of enquiry nurturing leads through the process for a successful outcome 
  • Work both autonomously and collaborative across our full venue portfolio
  • Diverse workload with no two days the same, from conference to corporate, social and weddings. An opportunity to diversify and enhance your skill set
  • Driven and motivated by securing the sales and bringing to life a clients brief
  • Producing flawless event documentation
  • Contribute to the process of continual improvements to our process & procedures
  • Support the sourcing of preferred suppliers, coupled with building and maintaining current event and wedding suppliers
  • Build and maintain relationships with event and wedding inclusive but not limited to face to face site inspections as well as impeccable internal stakeholder relationships
  • Identify and convert revenue building opportunities
  • Reporting on event financials and ability to interpret reporting and an understanding of how their role impacts the financial performance of the department
  • Support the development and execution of external and or internal event & wedding showcases
About you
  • Venue event sales experience preferred
  • Intuitive and confident, effective  communicator
  • Invested in your own professional development with growth opportunities at the forefront
  • Own transport essential
  • Multi venue experience an advantage
  • Ivvy experience an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years event sales experience
  • Must be able to manage high volume workload, remain in the detail
