About The Role:
We are seeking experienced Chef de Partie, who has experience working as a wholesale chef or in a food manufacturing environment.
There is an opportunity for 2 full-time positions commencing immediately.
Position involves:
  • Packing products for deliveries
  • Cleaning and general housekeeping
  • Ensuring and maintaining the highest levels of standards for all products.
  • Lead a team in the mass prep and build of all products – including sandwich/wraps/roll/salad portioning
  • Effectively manage a team to meet daily production schedule and KPI’s
  • Excellent both written and verbal communication skills – be able to accurately complete compliance paperwork
  • Following procedures relating to cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting all kitchen areas and utensils
  • Guide and motivate catering assistants and bakers to work more efficiently
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and HACCP regulations
  • Lifting up to 20kg
  • Be comfortable with fast-paced repetitive work

About You:
The ideal applicant will:
  • Have a minimum of 24 months proven experience as CDP
  • Great attention to detail and creativity
  • Organizing and leadership skills
  • Willingness to replenish professional knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
  • Working knowledge of food prep with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten-free, sugarless etc.)
  • Relevant qualifications and certificates
  • Must be available for a rotating roster including Sundays
  • Hold or will be willing to obtain a National Police Check (valid within 6months)
  • Reliable form of transportation (we are not located near public transport)
