This highly adaptive multinational business designs and manufactures innovative and market-leading equipment used by customers requiring mission-critical power generation solutions. This includes both on-grid and off-grid permanent and standby power for clients operating within infrastructure, heavy industry, mining, oil & gas and large commercial buildings including data centres and hospitals.  They have also developed hybrid solutions integrating equipment with battery storage technologies, UPS, micro-grids, wind and solar farms. Job tasks and responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager of Project Delivery you will lead numerous engineering projects and be responsible for all commercial aspects including project profitability. This includes managing the design and technology solution, building client relationships, planning and organising sub-contractors and ensuring the project is delivered on time, on budget and with quality. The projects can range in value from $5 million through to $75 million dollars. There is an expectation that at various project milestones you will need to spend time at site and this will be planned and reasonable travel.
Skills and experience
You will be respected by your peers, managers and suppliers as a person who can build trust with customers and often exceed their expectations.  You will have gained relevant experience as a Project Engineer and/or Project Manager in designing, planning, managing and commissioning engineering projects for your clients whilst delivering commercial profitability through best practice contract delivery. It is important that you have experience in project managing the design and installation of medium to large scale, industrial equipment or mechanical and electrical plant that have numerous interfaces and complexity.
