We are seeking an Operations Manager for a national business which manufactures and supplies innovative and inspiring products for both residential and commercial spaces. The focus of the role will be overseeing warehousing, customer service and and leading the State Managers. Einfo.

Key focus areas: 

·  Managing Customer Service, Warehousing (3PL), Freight, Sample room, Systems
·  Oversee and maintain an efficient and well run operation 
·  Cost Reduction; increase productivity and efficiency
·  Improve operational systems, process and policies in support of the organization’s mission
·  Support better management reporting, information flow and management, business processes and organizational planning
  
Your leadership attributes will include: 

·  Analytical thinker, skilled at matching business problems to possible solutions
·  Critical thinking and can analyze situations and make decisions geared towards the best interest of the company
·  Provide leadership across all facets of the state & national operations, lead, develop, coach, train and mentor the operational staff to provide ongoing safe and customer focused continuity of performance at a sustained high output level
·  Ensure the team maintains productive working relationships with other functions
·  Play a significant role in long term planning, including initiatives geared towards operational excellence.
  

Your Operational tool box will include: 

·  Ensuring a KPI-driven culture is reinforced through the introduction of appropriate warehousing and distribution, safety, cultural and customer service metrics
·  Managing and increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of support services, through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions
·  Support better management reporting, information flow and management, business processes and organizational planning
·  Safely maintain dismantling capacity in line with strategy and budget
·  Define company policies and implement training
·  Assuring productivity and efficiency while seeking to reduce cost, identify and eliminate hidden costs
·  Supervise supply chain procedures and inventory tracking (working closely with Demand manager)
