Accounts Payable Officer


Immediate start required for an experienced AP Officer who enjoys reconciliations, 12 month FTC with view to extend

Gramerci have been engaged to source a new Accounts Payable officer to join an established corporate accounting team based in the heart of the CBD. 

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will be primarily responsible for the efficient and timely processing and payments of accounts payable as well as reconciliation of bank accounts and balance sheets. Your role will also include but not be limited to;
  • Data entry of supplier invoices into the finance system
  • Preparation of daily bank journals and reconciliation of bank balance
  • Preparation and processing of weekly and fortnightly payments
  • Maintaining and organising all files through in-house systems
  • Reconciling statements from creditors and liaise regarding discrepancies
About You:
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience within Accounts Payable capacity
  • Intermediate Excel, Work and Outlook proficiency
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication (via both email and telephone) and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
