We are recruiting on behalf of this incredible planning and design consultancy for an Associate Landscape Architect to be based in their Sydney office. They are looking for someone with applied research and innovative thinking who adheres to a collaborative approach. They want someone who prides themselves on a holistic and innovative approach to all their work.
  • Play a key role in business development and be client-facing
  • Further, develop a client base and secure future projects
  • Interpret design briefs, preparation of designs concepts, drawing, documentation plans, specifications, and estimates for clients
  • Ability to apply and interpret legislative requirement as they apply to Landscape Architecture in the public domain or urban environment
  • Effectively consult with clients about their design environment and practicality
  • Manage the required inputs and ideas of others to solve complex landscape design problems and, through written, graphic, and verbal presentation skills, communicate the key elements of the design
  • Manage the preparation of tenders applications, presentations, and planning applications
  • Passion for Landscape Architecture and Urban Design 
  • A tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design or other associated profession
  • Experience in concept design and masterplan development and implementation of landscape and urban design projects
  • The ability to work with a team to develop a business development plan and further develop a client base and secure future projects
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all key stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
