The Company:

This organisation is a national leader in the hire, sale, and modification of shipping containers and provides portable building solutions to suit diverse requirements across a wide range of industries. This company has been providing solution to clients across the Government, mining and resources, transport, storage, building and construction sectors for over 25 years.

The Role
  
There is an immediate requirement of an experienced and well-rounded sales professional to join the business with a focus on the mining and resources industries present in Western Australia. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be identifying, progressing, and closing opportunities for new hire, sale and modification of shipping containers by engaging with customers via outbound/inbound enquiries.
You will work collaboratively with the local sales teams as well as National Account Managers to proactively engage businesses to identify their need for our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively explore new market opportunities and seek to secure new business by undertaking the minimum number of face-to-face customer site visits per week
  • Develop strong working relationships with both existing and new customers with strong emphasis on the mining and resources industry across the state
  • Track and assign projects via BCI within CRM
  • Provide timely and accurate data to the Sales Support Officer for inclusion in the Pipeline.
  • Engage managed accounts and new customers with strong product solutions to drive hire/sale conversions.
  • Conduct customer visits to present the company's offerings and services.
  • Maintain relationships with managed account list, ensuring regular contact, site visits, quote, and account follow-up.
  • Provide timely and accurate quotes for all company products and services in line with company pricing guidelines
  • Participate in various industry events to build network.
About You
  
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience in a proactive sales position with a strong B2B focus. Sharp business development skills with a current strong mining-based network of clients to hit the ground running is essential to your success in this role.
What you will bring to this role:
  • Minimum three years of experience in B2B business development and outbound sales
  • Previous experience in customer account management
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Deep solution selling experience
  • A self-motivated, result-oriented individual, passionate about winning new business
