Role & Responsibilities
Nexon is looking for an experienced Accountant to work within its Finance Team in Head Office. The role reports to the Finance Manager. The primary responsibilities will be

  • Assist the Finance Manager in the production of Month End Accounts including
    • Balance sheet reconciliations
    • Revenue reconciliations, variance reporting and analysis
    • Fixed asset register and depreciation calcs
    • Inventory review and valuation
  • Bank Reconciliations and daily cash reporting
  • Projects and procurement reconciliations
  • Taxation – preparation of BAS/income tax/FBT/ABS survey for review
  • Working with other departments on queries and clarifications
  • Assistance in preparation of information for External audits
  • Suggesting of improvements in system and on processes
Experience & Personal Attributes sought
To be considered, the candidate should meet the following criteria
  • Degree Qualified and studying towards professional qualification
  • 2-3 years’ experience as an Assistant Accountant or Accountant
  • Experience with Finance ERP systems
  • Experience with Month End ownership and preparation of monthly results
  • Good communication skills and a hands-on attitude.
